Peru | Moody’s about Peru: “The country is given the benefit of the doubt”

INTERVIEW. Jaime Reusche, vice-president of Moody’s sovereign risk division, explains why the outlook and the creditworthiness of Peru, which was under evaluation, is maintained. On the 23rd of August, the credit rating agency Moody’s confirmed the A3 qualification for the emission of foreign and domestic currency by the Peruvian government, and confirmed the outlook to be “stable”. This followed doubts about whether the outlook would change to negative. SEMANAeconómica talked with Jaime Reusche, vice-president of the sovereign risk division of Moody’s about this decision.
